GLASS, COMPONENTS & WARRANTIES
GLASS OPTIONS
DOOR COMPONENTS
1. Sill Options
We have sill options to meet your desired application. Our sills come with a thick aluminum extrusion and a wood or composite sub-sill. This strong sill gives your door system the base strength required to support the door and glass components. Black anodized sills, low profile sills, adjustable sills and out swing sills are available. 2. Ball Bearing & Decorative Hinges The hinge is the only hardware that fastens the door to the frame. We use premium ball bearing hinges to allow the door to move more freely through the entrance way. The hinge is fastened to the jamb using anodized screws. This prevents the door from sagging and thus becoming out of square and difficult to operate. We also offer decorative hinges that will enhance the interior of your entrance way. 3. Durable Door Sweep The door sweep sits at the bottom of the door and lines up with the sill. Our durable door sweep is made with 5 co-extruded fins to stop cold, wind and rain from entering your home. The sweep is adjustable. 4. Door Glass Frame The door glass frame will hold the decorative glass or wrought iron in place in your door system. Our frame is made of a non-yellowing PVC material and comes with a screw cap cover to hide the fastening screws. The frame is sealed with three co-extruded seals that do not require sealant which tends to ooze out when heated. For doors with consistent sun exposure we also offer aluminum extruded frames. 5. Door Jambs & Brickmould We offer low maintenance vinyl laminated finger-joint jambs and brickmould in a variety of sizes. We also have zero-maintenance composite jambs as an upgrade option. |
6. Fiberglass Slab
We use a premium fiberglass slab doors filled with a polyurethane insulation that will help keep your home warm in the winter and cool in the summer. These doors resist rot, warping and delamination and are much heavier and more durable than steel doors. 7. Steel Guardian Plate Many of our systems come with an 18 gauge steel guardian plate that is fastened to the outside of the door frame. The hardware latch and strike plate are fastened to this plate to reinforce the lock block section of the door. This provides added peace of mind and helps reduce the occurrence of break-ins. 8. Weather-stripping The weather-stripping is inserted into the door jamb to prevent air infiltration. We use a premium z-mag weather stripping system that embraces compression technology for a superior seal. 9. Painted Doors We offer a variety of standard paint colours to choose from. We can also accommodate custom colours for an additional fee. If you choose to have your door painted, we will provide you with touch-up paint to repair any minor scratches your door receives in the future. 10. Staining (Available only for Wood grain Fiberglass Systems) We provide customers with a variety of stain colours. The stain process is highly intricate and completed by hand. The end result is a durable and beautiful one-of-a-kind finish that will enhance your home's curb appeal.. |

Jovanoski Door Store and More Inc. grants these warranties only to the original purchaser of the door and the original purchaser of the building where the door was installed. This warranty excludes any defects in secondary applied coatings. Also excluded from this warranty are defects resulting from: (a) exposure to air pollutants (b) exposure to chemicals, acid or fumes (c) improper handling, storage, abuse, vandalism, misuse, impact by a foreign object, natural disasters, negligence, accidents, fire, explosions or other causalities (d) maintenance not conducted in strict adherence with Jovanoski Door Store and More Inc.’s instructions, both written and verbal (e) air and water infiltration during severe weather conditions (f) any failure of the structure/building/foundation into which the door was installed (g) damage caused by exposure to excessive heat (i.e. installed behind a non-ventilated storm door that is exposed to the sun, or malfunction with paint or stain that receives excessive exposure to direct sunlight) (h) modification and/or the installation of hardware, locks, door lites, storm/screen doors or any other component not sold and installed by Jovanoski Door Store and More Inc. Exposure to UV, air pollutants and normal atmosphere conditions may cause all surfaces to gradually fade, chalk, or suffer an accumulation of surface dirt or stains. These are normal occurrences and are not covered under this warranty. Note: The stain process attempts to replicate a wood door. As in wood doors, the stain may be deeper in certain sections and lighter in others. This is common in fiberglass doors. Note: Paint and stain colours may vary slightly during final production. Note: There will always be some minor imperfections when painting or staining a steel or fiberglass door; therefore, these imperfections will not be classified as a defect in workmanship. THIS WARRANTY IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND MERCHANTABILITY. MOREOVER, IN NO EVENT WILL JOVANOSKI DOOR STORE AND MORE INC. BE LIABLE OR RESPONSIBLE FOR SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THIS WARRANTY IS NOT TRANSFERABLE. Maintenance and Cleaning The surfaces of the door will, over time, collect a layer of surface dust and dirt. Normal gentle dusting with a clean, soft, damp microfiber cloth will remove this accumulation of surface dust. If you wish to do a more thorough cleaning of the door, a mild solution of liquid dish soap may be used. Do not use anything abrasive on steel or fiberglass doors. Weather-stripping and door sweeps may become worn over the life of the door and should, if necessary, be replaced. Loose or worn door sweeps and weather-stripping are one of the prime reasons for heat loss and air or water penetration through door systems. A clear coat should be applied to stained fiberglass doors every two years to help maintain the richness of the stain. |
